GRI Clarifies status of Racing in Shelbourne Park on February 17th and 18th

Due to the interruption of racing at Shelbourne Park stadium on Friday 17th of February and Saturday 18th of February, GRI has announced that where no greyhound was presented for weigh in for races on those nights, the races have been declared “abandoned”. This in effect means that the semi-finals of the Best Parks Gold Cup will now not be staged nor will any of the “abandoned” races scheduled for Shelbourne Park on February 17th and 18th.

GRI advises owners and trainers of greyhounds which were listed for Friday and Saturday night 17th and 18th of February but which did not run will not be subject to regulatory sanction (i.e. 7 day Ban).
