The Welfare of Greyhounds Act, 2011, is an act to provide for the welfare of Greyhounds, regulate the operation of Greyhound Breeding establishments and establish a register of Greyhound Breeding establishments.

The Animal Health and Welfare Act, 2013, is an act to revise the law relating to the health and welfare of animals and their protection and identification. It also provides for the regulation of certain activities relating to animals and to prevent cruelty to animals.
