Rásaíocht Con Éireann / Greyhound Racing Ireland (GRI) is proud to play its part in delivering the Government’s Climate Action Plan objectives for the public sector, a 51% reduction in energy-related greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and a 50% improvement in energy efficiency by 2030.
These targets are tracked annually by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) under S.I. 426 of 2014, with all public bodies reporting through SEAI’s Monitoring and Reporting (M&R) system. GRI operates under the remit of the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine and reports annually on our progress.
