Facilities And Areas To Enjoy in Shelbourne Park

In 2024, Shelbourne Park Greyhound Stadium underwent an extensive renovation which upgraded the facilities and spaces for our customers to enjoy on race nights.

What's available on our Ground Floor?

The Shelbourne Park Ground Floor area is the space that our general admission customers can enjoy throughout the night, along with our restaurant customers before and after their meal if they wish.

The Ground Floor offers the following spaces:

Shelbourne Park Sports Bar

The Shelbourne Park Sports Bar offers all customers to Shelbourne Park a modern and inviting bar area to enjoy a drink pre and post-racing and a space to sit and chat with mates while they watch racing on the many tv screens throughout the bar area. 

The area is open to all customers so restaurant customers can enjoy the space before moving upstairs for their meal and customers who join us on general admission can use the bar area all throughout the night.

1927 Lounge

The 1927 Lounge offers a more intimate option for customers on the ground floor area of Shelbourne Park. Seperated by glass doors but within each reach of the Sports Bar and the outdoor viewing areas, the 1927 Lounge has plush velvet booths and ample tables for groups to make their own on a race night.

South Lotts Terrace

South Lotts Terrace is a welcome addition to Shelbourne Park offering a top-quality cafe service with coffees, teas and a selection of light bites and hot and cold food options for customers to enjoy. 

The South Lotts Terrace Cafe is also open midweek and more information can be found on their social media channels.

Shelbourne Park Food Hall

The Shelbourne Park Food has a modern new look while retaining the spacious seating areas that allows customers to grab a bite to eat with space to sit and enjoy it, before heading back to the bar or outdoor viewing areas.

The new Shelbourne Park Museum is also located on the Ground Floor area.

From these areas you also have access to our outdoor grandstand area to enjoy racing outdoors.

Additional Facilities on the Ground Floor include:

  • An ATM on Race Nights
  • Tote Facilities
  • Numerous TV's showing racing and other sporting events / TV
  • Toilet facilities in our South Lotts Cafe, Shelbourne Park Sports Bar and beside the 1927 Lounge and Shelbourne Park Museum area

First Floor - Restaurant Level

The first floor level at Shelbourne Park is home to the Shelbourne Park Restaurant, offering dining and drinks with a view of the racing action outside and through TV screens located throughout. Bar & Tote service is direct to the table in our restaurant.

There are also two bars offering drinks to all customers, along with additional seating for customers availiing of our group admission offers.

Customers have access via a stairs to the outside Grandstand area if they wish to enjoy racing outdoors.

Toilet and Tote facilities are also located on this level.

Second Floor - Private Suite Level

Shelbourne Park offers a range of Private Suites of different sizes exclusively for the use of private groups/events. Our Sales Team can advise on a suite to suit your needs on sales@grireland.ie 

Toilet,  Tote and Bar Services are available on this level also.

Baby Changing facilities are available - please ask our staff for more details

Free Wifi is available throughout Shelbourne Park

Accessibility at Shelbourne Park

We strive to offer a fantastic night out to all our customers. If you have any special requests or accessibility issues please do speak to us about how we can help. 

  • Disabled Parking - 6 dedicated disabled parking spaces are available. If you require additional spaces these can be arranged on request. 
  • Toilet Facilities - Wheelchair accessible toilets are available on all levels
  • Lift - we offer a lift to all floors

Please note that our our restaurant is tiered, not all of which are accessible but wheelchair users and those who have difficulty with stairs will be accomodated on lift accessible levels.
