A Charda completed his unbeaten march through the valuable TIME Nutrition & NTSC A3 525 at Newbridge on Friday night, again showing too much dash for his rivals.
Sent to traps the 4-5 favourite after two impressive runs in the earlier rounds, the son of Orchestrate and Highview Moment went up fast from five, leading to the bend before turning second to Rosards Cheetah.
Running a good second turn, A Charda was back in front soon after straightening up into the back straight. Once doing so, it was over as a contest. The Vincent McKenna trained puppy charged into a decisive lead to the third turn before coasting home a good winner for his owners, the A Charda Gael Syndicate.
The April ’24 whelp hit the line two and a half lengths clear of Dazl Twink Babe in 28.87 with Rosards Cheetah another three and a half lengths further back in third. It will be the last start in A3 company for the winner as he will now step up in grade. If his current trajectory is accurate, he will be well able for the upgrade.
