The opening heat can go the way of Amazing Power for the kennel of Michael Meade. Back-to-back wins in recent weeks, the selection is a rapidly improving sort. That was a career best last week, clocking 28.73, and he's selected to make every yard of the running from trap three.

In the second semi-final, Moonveen Floss lands a narrow vote for Charlie Mackey. In fine form in recent runs, the selection made all the running to win in 29.24 last week. Drawn well in trap two, another front-running winning performance is on the cards.
