APPOINTMENT OF NEW BOARD MEMBER TO RÁSAÍOCHT CON ÉIREANN

 Louise McKenna, Board Member of Rásaíocht Con Éireann

 Rásaíocht Con Éireann has been advised by the Minister of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Mr Charlie McConalogue, of his appointment of Louise McKenna as a Board member of Rásaíocht Con Éireann.

 Louise is currently a Director of an Educational Trust where she Chairs its Investment and Funding committee.  Previously, she was the CFO for Core Industrial Properties DAC, and has held several Senior Finance & Risk Positions. These days she also provides consultancy services to several clients.

Louise is a Chartered Accountant, having qualified with EY in London and holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Trinity College, Dublin. 

Frank Nyhan, Chairman of Rásaíocht Con Éireann, welcomed the Minister’s appointment of the new Board member and stated "On behalf of Rásaíocht Con Éireann, I extend a warm welcome to Louise McKenna, our newly appointed Board Member. The appointment to the Board of Rásaíocht Con Éireann is effective for a three-year period.
