Skywalker Barry went fastest of Michael O’Donovan’s runners to trial at Towcester on Sunday afternoon.
The former Juvenile Derby and Select Stakes champion posted a useful 29.58 fore the 500m trip. Kennel companion Coolavanny Calvn also ran encouragingly to post 29.62 in the opening trial of the session.
Sadly, it seemed as though Coolavanny Duke lost his action on the run in of his 30.10 trial. Coolavanny Hoffa was due to trial but O’Donovan decided against it. Incidentally, former Graham Holland trained speedster Monraud Thunder posted the fastest time of the session, 29.48, for his new handler Frank Bryce.
