BRAVE MAGLASS LANDS FEATURE AT SHELBOURNE

After showing glimpses of real promise in previous outings, Maglass Brave took Friday’s feature at Shelbourne Park in real style.

Dave Buckley’s son of Kinloch Brae and Bling Bling Lola was housed in the red of one in the final of the Barking Buzz App A4 525 and he made full use of the draw, flashing from traps to lead the field into the turn.

Ballybough Sean flew up the outside of the track to join the leader on the bend but Maglass Brave shoved him out of the way at the second turn and quickly set about putting daylight between himself and his pursuers.

Staying on strongly. Maglass Brave emerged a facile nine length winner over Superior Racking in a fastest of the night 28.66.

The other final up for decision, that of the Talking Dogs A2/A3 Bitch 525, saw Jerry Connors’ Hawkfield Breeze come from behind to deny Fahy Devine. The Jamie McGee trained daughter of Droopys Jet and Brownstown Tango came through to score by a length in 28.93.
