BURGESS BUICK was the sales topper at the Curraheen Park on Saturday morning.
A son of Droopys Buick and Madgies Wish, the May puppy ran an absolute cracker when coming from well off the pace to land the spoils in 29.08. He reached €3,000 on the bench.
Next best was Cahir Bridge, an impressive 29.17 winner, the daughter of Droopys Sydney and Little Satin, a November puppy, made €2,900.
Blakes Lad, a May son of Laughil Blake and Saunders Akita, clocked 29.00 seconds and it was later sold for €1.950.
The well-bred Droopys Capture impressed in Youghal early last week when making a winning debut, she was in early trouble in her trial, but she still managed to run well, finishing a five length second in 29.00. A daughter of Dorotas Wildcat and Droopys Ant, the May puppy reached €1,650.
High Stepper got the better of Droopys Capture and he made €1,450. A litter brother to Blakes Lad, he clocked an identical time of 29.00.
Other standout sales were as follows: Burgess Night (1250), Mineola Cheeky (1250), and Beechwood Bonnie (1200).
The quickest run of the morning came from Tell On Jessie. A November of daughter of Droopys Sydney and Newinn Boodles, the bright prospect clocked 28.88. Making €6,000, she was unsold and had a reserve of €10,000.
