TIME Greyhound Nutrition Announces Details at Kilcohan Park Greyhound Stadium for Select Stakes 2024.

Kilcohan Park Greyhound Stadium announced details this week for 2024 commencement of the highly anticipated TIME Greyhound Nutrition Select Stakes.

This competition will be hosted over three rounds, commencing with the 1st Round on Saturday April 13th, followed by the Semi-final on April 20th, and culminating in the Final on April 27th.

Featuring a starting lineup of eighteen entries, three will qualify from each heat. Adding to the interest for greyhound racing fans will be the unique invitational aspect of this event as the winners of The Irish Greyhound Derby, The Irish Laurels, and The Puppy Derby will all be guaranteed a spot in the semi-final. In the event of their unavailability, the highest-placed greyhound will be extended the honour.

Generously sponsored by Time Greyhound Nutrition, this year’s event will once again feature a top prize of €10,000 to the winner.

Willie Rigney of TIME Greyhound Nutrition said at the launch, “We are proud to continue to support the TIME Greyhound Nutrition Select Stakes here at Kilcohan Park, which formed part of our overall sponsorship announcement earlier this year. This event embodies our commitment to promoting excellence in greyhound nutrition and performance. We look forward to seeing the action and crowning the new champion at the Final on Saturday April 27th”

The TIME Select Stakes will be hosted on Saturday 13th, Saturday 20th & Saturday 27th April at Kilcohan Park Greyhound Stadium. Doors open each night at 6.45pm.

The event for 18 greyhounds will feature a first-place prize of €10,000.
