SHINNAGH TUNE (Laughil Blake-Alls Well) lit up the Youghal track on Monday night with a spectacular performance in the closing race.
It looked like a red hot A2 contest on paper, but once the powerful winner slipped around in front, it looked game over for her opposition. Trained by John Kiely for owner Tomas Leahy, the recent Cork sales purchase delivered a real special performance at the seaside venue.
She took off heading down the back straight and left good sorts well behind, it was the classy Sizzler who proved second best, but he had no answers for the impressive winner as she showed massive all round pace to clock, a flying 28.76.
