A COMPETITIVE DERBY PLATE TO LOOK FORWARD TO

The 2023 Michael Fortune Memorial Derby Plate will get underway at Shelbourne Park on Friday night and it is a competitive renewal.

Of the talented entry, the likes of Optic Chico, Ballymac Johnjo, Deadly Showtime won their opening round assignments in the Boylesports Irish Greyhound Derby, while Good Maestro was one of the stars of the first weekend, posting a rapid 29.24.

There are many more talented trackers in the Plate including Champion Unraced winner Carrick Fergie, the exciting Daleroad Duke, Millroad Bolger, Sogna In Grande, Ballymac Run, Annagh Bailey, Gaytime Hugo, Magical Kuba, Beepers Lariat, Clona Rocko and Pape Di Oro amongst others.
