CLOGHEEN LASS (Laughil Duke-Leevalley Dancer) produced a sensational winning performance in the final of the €5,000 to the winner John Fitzgerald Memorial Mini Open Bitch Stake at Kilcohan Park on Saturday night.
Once again, the classy performer showed her liking for the Waterford venue. A winner of the Munster Oaks around course and distance, the Graham Holland trained 5-4 winner delivered another fantastic performance to win the feature.
Once she led around the opening turns, it was game over. In the ownership of the Farran-And-Away-Syndicate, the impressive winner clocked 28.28 as she was in control to beat Burgess Annie, by two and a half lengths, with a length and a half back to Quivers Magic in third.

The 6-1 outsider put on a superb front running display to beat the fast finishing Maori Man, by a length, in 28.67.

Terrific Tonic landed the final of the €900 to the winner Honey Kennels D1/D2 730-yard stake for Rhys and Toni Fortune.
Mid division for most of the way, the 4-1 shot was strongest in the closing stages as the strong running winner got the better of Ballygur Bale, by two lengths, 40.90.
