NORA HEALY

It’s with sadness we must note the passing of Nora Healy on Wednesday.

Nora was a well-known figure in greyhound sport, most notably in Kilkenny where her husband Nicky is a director of the track, while her daughter Deirdre is married to Murt Leahy and hugely involved in the sport through their successful Village Kennels operation.

We would like to take this opportunity to pass on our condolences to Nora’s loving husband Nicky, her daughters Marguerite and Deirdre and her much adored grandchildren, Barry, Conor, Emma, Katelyn, Chloe, and Eve, her great-grandchildren Lily and Oisin, sons-in-law Micky and Murty, extended family and many friends.

May She Rest In Peace.

Kilmacar, Conahy, & formerly of Tullowglass.

Passed away peacefully at her Home surrounded by her loving family.

Cherished wife of Nicholas (Nicky), loved and remembered by her daughters Marguerite and Deirdre, her adoring grandchildren Barry, Conor, Emma, Katelyn, Chloe, and Eve, her great-grandchildren Lily and Oisin, sons-in-law Micky and Murty, nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in-law, and her dear friends.    

MAY NORA REST IN PEACE 

Reposing at Coady's Funeral Home, Castlecomer on Thursday (3rd August) from 4pm with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Friday to St. Colman's Church, Conahy for Requiem Mass at 12 Noon (via her residence) followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
