It's not often you see it, but TUONO CHARLIEmade it the perfect 13 straight wins in the Kingdom on Saturday night, winning the €7,000 to the winner MCP Group 750 for trainer Sharon Hunt and owner Paul Dyer.
Following up on his recent big wins, this was another wonderful performance in the feature final. Once again, it was won early as the super-talented winner quickly opened up a five-length gap on the chasing pack. Powerful in every department, it was another devastating winning performance, clocking 40.76 and coming home five and a half lengths clear of the strong running Kinturk Road. That's 13 wins on the bounce and in truth, he never ever looked like getting turned over in any of them.
In the €1,250 to the winner Christy Lucey Transport Stakes Final, it was Woman Of Money who scored for Thomas Regan and Megan Moriarty. Always in the mix-up front, the 2-1 shot kept on best to land the nice pot, clocking 28.48 when coming home with a length and a half to spare over Cahirard Kango.
In the Creedon Transport 550, Hogan Stand delivered a career-best performance when winning for trainer James O'Regan and owners Joe McCarthy and Frank Neylon. Daleroad Duke was sent off favourite, but he was in early trouble after a sluggish start. The 4-1 winner came away racing and he flew around the opening turns in front. A really nice sort, the impressive winner is improving all the time and he posted a top class 29.36, two and a half lengths clear of Riverside Pingu.
