SHELBOURNE PARK GREYHOUND STADIUM REFURBISHMENT NEARS COMPLETION: A NEW ERA FOR GREYHOUND RACING IN DUBLIN

Greyhound Racing Ireland (GRI) is thrilled to announce that the comprehensive refurbishment project at Shelbourne Park Greyhound Stadium is nearing completion. This transformative initiative, which began on February 14th, 2024, is set to elevate the experience for all greyhound racing enthusiasts and spectators.

Throughout the renovation period, Shelbourne Park has remained open to the public, with races continuing every Friday and Saturday night. As we approach the final stages of this project, we are excited to share that the ground floor will soon be accessible once again, offering enhanced facilities and a refreshed environment for our visitors.

Key updates include:

• Reopening of the Ground Floor: The ground floor will feature modernised amenities, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all attendees. The new outlets include:

South Lotts Terrace

Shelbourne Park Sports Bar

1927 Lounge

Shelbourne Park Museum

Food Hall

• Enhanced Restaurant Dining: Our restaurant and upper floors have continued to operate for during the construction period, with upgrades to décor and reception area taking place during the non-racing nights.
• Return of Thursday night racing when reopened
