THE 2024 BAR ONE RACING IRISH LAURELS IS LAUNCHED!

The Irish Greyhound Laurels, one of Ireland’s most prestigious greyhound racing competitions, has been officially launched. Now in its second year of an innovative four-year partnership, this event brings together two fantastic supporters of greyhound racing: Bar One Racing, a well-known name in the industry, and The Friends & Supporters of Cork Greyhound Racing, led by Chairman Jimmy Barry Murphy.

This year also has the additional incentive of the €10,000 bonus if the winner of the Bar One Irish Sprint Cup goes on to win the Bar One Irish Laurels Final (in addition to the current first winners prize of €30,000)!

Bar One Racing, founded by CEO Barney O’Hare in Dundalk, County Louth in 1995, has expanded significantly over the past 25 years. With more than 350 dedicated staff across fifty-three shops in Ireland, they added the Irish Greyhound Laurels to their portfolio of horse and greyhound events in 2023.
