TOM DUGGAN

The death occurred on Friday evening (August 9th) of Tom Duggan, Glenmore, County Kilkenny.

Tom bred the vast majority of his runners and enjoyed plenty of success down through the years with his entries at Kilcohan Park, Waterford and Kilkenny tracks. 

He tasted classic success with Big Kuda (Kilbeg Kuda-Far Down) in the final of the 1973 National Produce Stakes at Clonmel.

To his family and friends we extend our deepest sympathy.

Duggan; Aylwardstown, Glenmore, Co. Kilkenny. 9th August 2024. Tom, peacefully at his residence in the care of his loving family aged 93 years.

Beloved husband of Eileen, loving father to Maria and John. Predeceased by his brothers Dick, Fr. John and Fr. Nicky. Deeply regretted by his loving family, Brother Mike, sisters Annie and Sr. Mary, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Doyle's Funeral Home The Old Rectory, Rosbercon, New Ross from 4.30pm on Sunday 11th August 2024 concluding with prayers at 7.30pm.

Funeral leaving his residence at 11.30am on Monday 12th to arrive at St James' Church, Glenmore, for 12 noon Requiem Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
