BALLYMAC JAZZ A VERY POPULAR WINNER IN YOUGHAL

BALLYMAC JAZZ ran out a very popular winner of Monday night's second race for Cloyne man, James Costine. Supported from 7-4 into 6-4 on track, favourite backers never had a moment's worry as the impressive winner bounced out in front and went on to make all the running, in 29.65.
Any funds the son of Ballymac Anton wins will be going to both the Irish Cancer Society and Irish Retired Greyhound Trust.

In 2015 I was diagnosed with a Synovial Sarcoma in my upper left arm. I received Chemotherapy, radiotherapy & surgery as my treatment plan and have continued to suffer from chronic pain ever since my treatment.
I found training my own few greyhounds to be extremely beneficial to both my mental & physical health.
I have always wanted to give back to the Irish Cancer Society which will receive 90% of the money raised and also to donate 10% to the Irish Retired Greyhound Trust that do fantastic work as the greyhound industry in Ireland is continuing to lead the way with the welfare of the greyhounds coming above all else.
Scooby doo (Ballymac Jazz) is under the care of 2 veterinary clinics which have volunteered free care and he will be trained by myself, a cancer survivor. He will remain as a pet in my family after his racing career ends and hopefully he will have a happy, healthy career.

IN OTHER RACES:
Pennylane Dusty completed a great night for James Costine when the 8-1 outsider put on a strong all-round performance to win race 11, an A3, in 29.21. Prince Josh half a length back in second.
MCLEAN TREBLE
Kerryroad May was a brilliant winner of the fourth, an A2, for Clonmel trainer, Kevin McLean. The 9-4 favourite led early, soon clear, the impressive winner beat Loskeran Sandy, by three and a half lengths, in 29.08.
McLean doubled up in the sixth, Kerryroad Peg just made the corner in front and the 4-1 chance just did enough to fend off the unlucky in running Instant Recall, by a head, in 29.64.
Kerryroad Kat made it a Kevin McLean treble after the 5-4 favourite landed the 12th, an A4, in 29.64.
DUKE GOES QUICKEST
Ballydorgan Duke delivered a powerful display in race seven.
Eddie Lingane's dog broke in front and from there, it was all one-way traffic upfront. The 6-4 market leader is very strong over this trip and he went on to record a brilliant 28.81, three and a half lengths clear of Knockboy Boris.
Cluain Jack returned to top form in race 10, an A2, for Daniel and Tom Cronin, Youghal. Just making the corner in front, the 3-1 winner was soon clear and the early paced performer stopped the clock, in 29.16
