Rory speaks to proud retired greyhound owner, Sallyanne Tong.
Sallyanne, Ken and their two teenage sons had previously had two miniature Daschunds, the second had passed away at the age of 15 and they thought that was the last dog in their family but. during Covid, they made the decision to welcome another dog.
"We all agree that Asher was the best thing that came into this house, and that we adore him unconditionally."
Just nine months later, it was back on the road to Limerick to Fionnuala and James in the IRGT Care Centre and they welcomed another greyhound, Otis, into their family.
Sallyanne chats about their experience with their two retired greyhounds, have a listen!
