APEX GLOBAL RESOURCES ANNOUNCED AS TITLE SPONSOR OF THE CORK OAKS AT CURRAHEEN PARK GREYHOUND STADIUM

Curraheen Park Greyhound Stadium has announced that Apex Global Resources as the title sponsors of the 2023 Cork Oaks, which takes place over 3 weekends during March. The event which first commenced in Curraheen Park in 2001 and was previously hosted in the stadium in the Western Road, is for 24 open class bitches with a winners’ prize of €5,000 & trophy.

The partnership will be the first time that Apex Global Resources have worked with Curraheen Park Greyhound Stadium. The event which is expecting a strong entry is seen as the curtain-raiser for The Oaks competition calendar nationwide.

At the Curraheen Park Greyhound Stadium, Cork details were announced of this year's Apex Global Resources Ltd Cork Oaks which takes place from the 4th to the 18th of march. Included were from left, Paddy O'Donovan, Cork Supporters, Jimmy Barry-Murphy, Darren Hogan, Racing Support Officer, Curraheen Park, Sponsor Seanie McGrath, Apex Global Resources, Brian Collins, Racing Manager and Damien Holland, Cork Supporters.

Brian Collins, Racing Manager at Curraheen Park Greyhound Stadium said, “We are delighted to partner with Apex Global Resources as the new sponsor for the Cork Oaks. Their investment in racing here at Curraheen Park will help to promote greyhound racing, support owners and trainers and progress the delivery of several care and welfare initiatives through the Greyhound Care Fund.
