RYHOPE BEACH THE STAR OF THE SHOW IN THE KINGDOM

Just like last week, Ryhope Beach (Droopys Sydney-Calzaghe Jan) clocked a sensational 28.12 as round two of the Greyhound & Petworld Juvenile Classic took place in the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium.

Trained by Michael O'Donovan for owner Alison Bandurak, the even-money favourite came away racing as the May youngster produced a flying 3.04 sectional. There was a bit of bumping in behind at the opening bend, but it made little difference because Rhope Beach was already on his way to victory. It was another spectacular display and the classy youngster looks a real star. Another magnificent all-round display coming home seven lengths clear of Good Maestro in second, with nine lengths back to Ballymac Shark in third place.

ALL ABOUT BALLYMAC 
It was all about Ballymac Marino (Vulturi-Jamaica Joy) in the second heat.

Trained by Liam Dowling for the Metinthehalfway-Syndicate, the 7-4 favourite had the advantage of the inside at the opening corner and he slipped around in front, he quickly put the race to bed. A powerful display up front, the classy winner recorded back to back winning performances, in 28.32. Dromana Boy was next best, five and a half lengths back, with three and a half lengths back to Saleen Ollie in third place.

IN OTHER HEATS
The opening heat produced a fantastic display from the Pat Buckley trained Terezas Mendoza (Droopys Sydney-Burgess Helena) landing the spoils in 28.34. In the ownership of the Queen-Of-The-South-Syndicate, the 2-1 shot showed a lovely touch of early pace and she went into the opening corner with favourite Ballymac Walk. Neck and neck soon after the opening corner, it was Terezas Mendoza who took control before halfway and the exciting young prospect stayed on strongly to beat another Pat Buckley trained runner in the shape of Ower Mystery. A length and a half the margin, in 28.34, with half a length back to Ballymac Walt in third place.
Heat three went the way of De Lahdedah (Lenson Bocko-Ballymac Sarahjo) for trainer Liam Dowling and the Garsuns-Syndicate. Not the quickest into stride, the 5-4 favourite showed a nice injection of early pace to slip around in front. Strong throughout, the October puppy delivered another fine display to beat Music Glideway, by five and a half lengths, in 28.42. A length back to Hot Magic in third place.
