SHELBOURNE INTROUCING TEXT ENTRIES

A notification has appeared in the Shelbourne Park card in the past week to highlight the fact that they are introducing a new text/Whatsapp system for entering greyhounds.

The notice suggested that there will also be earlier entry deadlines with runners for the Friday and Saturday cards needed to be with the racing office through the text system by Monday at 9pm. The cut off for the Thursday card will be Friday evening at 9pm.

When making your entries, make sure to include the name of the dog, preferred distance, sweepstake details if it applies, and seeding. The number for the text message/Whatsapp service is: 085 8004891

It is worth pointing out that the usual numbers, which can be found below, for Conor and Michael still apply and can be used for other enquiries.

“IMPORTANT NOTICE - ALL OWNERS & TRAINERS

From Monday 6th March ALL Race Entries will only be accepted Via new Text Messaging System.

The new system is to Facilitate an Audit of all entries and the earlier availability of Racecards.

All Race Entries will only be accepted via Text or WhatsApp message with the Greyhounds name, Preferred Distance or Sweepstake Details and Seeding to our new number 0858004891.

On receipt of entries the Racing Office will send a RECEIVED message back to you confirm they have entries. There will be a strict cut off time of Monday @ 9pm for Friday & Saturday Cards and Friday @ 1pm for Thursday Card. Verbal entries will not be accepted.

For all other Racing Related enquiries the normal Shelbourne Park numbers will still apply. Michael 085 1484848 & Conor 086 2716412.
