Owner/trainer Derek Kehoe stole the show in Youghal on Wednesday night as the in-form handler enjoyed a fantastic treble.

SLANEYSIDE LILA delivered the performance of the night when landing the Burgess Bucks @ Stud 550. Kindly sponsored by JJ Fennelly, the 6-4 favoutite produced one of her better starts to turn handy, and from there, it was all one-way traffic upfront. Such a powerful performance, the impressive winner beat Vivaro Dubh, by five and a half lengths, in 30.53. (A3).
Kehoe had got off to a flying start with SLANEYSIDE NED (4-5) as the June son of Ballymac Wild and Slaneyside Kerri displayed bundles of pace to make a winning debut, in 29.94, on a slow-running surface.
NO STOPPING VARDY
The night got even better when SLANEYSIDE VARDY completed the treble in the closing race, the 5-2 shot putting on a fine front running display to win the hotly contested A1 event.
Winning the all-important early lead, Vardy was always looking good up front and he kept on very well to beat Marlfield Dougal, by four and a half lengths, in 29.41.
