SENSATIONAL DEBUT PERFORMANCE FROM COOLAVANNY OTTO IN JUVENILE CLASSIC

COOLAVANNY OTTO (Droopys Sydney-Westwind Jet) delivered a sensational winning performance in the opening round of the 2024 Juvenile Classic in Tralee on Friday night.

Trained by Pat Buckley for James and Nathan Corden, the May puppy, a 6-4 shot in the betting ring, displayed a lovely touch of early pace to just make the corner in front. From there, the exciting talent was always in control and he pulled further clear late on. It was one of those really special debut performances, clocking a top-class, 28.04, six and a half lengths of Ballymac Rebel.

Da Bold Falcon (Droopys Sydney-Hail Cleopatra) was another to impress when putting on a magnificent winning performance. A 5-4 shot in the betting ring, the April puppy looks like another star of the future after posing a wonderful 28.13. Trained by Jack Kennelly for Patrick McDonagh, the impressive winner was in front before the opening corner and he displayed huge back straight speed to pull clear. At the line, he was eight lengths clear of Ballymac Patriot.

Kilcolgan Mick (Droopys Sydney-Razldazl Annie) clocked 28.45 in winning for trainer Neilus O'Connell and owner Karen Geoghegan. The March puppy display bundles of all-round pace to beat Kerogue Lady, by a length, in 28.45, at odds of 2-1.
Trainer Pat Buckley was also on the scoresheet with Ower Cracker (Deerjet Sydney-Nice Mystery) who scored for owners Joan and Tony Harvey. The June puppy, a 2-1 shot, delivered a fine front-running winning display, clocking 28.60 and coming home five lengths clear of Beaming Panther.

Niosfearrnabolt (Ballymac Kingdom-Ballymac Scala)clocked 28.52 when winning for trainer Liam Dowling and owners The Kingdoms Palace Syndicate. The April puppy was sent off the 7-4 market leader and it was another great run, making all the running to win, in 28.52, three-quarter of a length clear of Ballymac Dapper.

Baby Bocko (Lenson Bocko-Shes Ordinary) was another to make a winning debut. Trained by Graham Holland for owner Beverley Lochead, the 3-1 winner came from well off the pace to win, in 28.77. The March youngster got the better of Chambord, by half a length.
