GOLD CUP COMMENCES NEXT WEEK

Details of the 2022 RCETS Gold Cup were unveiled this morning.

The traditional early season showpiece was won in fine style by Inforapenny last year and this year’s competition promises to be a competitive renewal.

A number of potential challengers will be in action at Shelbourne Park on Saturday night, both on the twelve-race card and ahead of racing in the afternoon trial session. When they do take their place in the 2022 RCETS Gold Cup, they will be chasing a purse of €15,000.

The stake boasts a total prizefund of €36,940. Anyone wishing to enter their charge should do so as soon as possible by contacting the racing office.

*A reminder that as of this month, all entries for Friday and Saturday night cards must be with the racing office by 5pm, Monday.
