Another successful sale took place at Curraheen Park on Saturday.
Rallying Rio was the standout sale as the August puppy, a son of Out Of Range Asb and Rallying Bonny was sold for €4,500. A 29.76 trial winner around Limerick, he clocked 29.33 on a slow running Curraheen Park circuit.
Boardwalk Buster was another to impress, the July puppy won his trial by a long way in 29.37. Previous to that, he had posted 29.25 around the course and distance. The son of Confident Rankin and Lady Wonder made €3,500.
His litter brother Boardwalk Bertie showed plenty of early pace in his trial, but he went down by a head in 29.41. He reached €2,800.
Beechwood Sandy had run a couple of fine races around Kilkenny and Thurles before winning her trial easily in 29.11. A July daughter of Sh Avatar and Nutty Beth, she was sold for €2,900.
Dalcash Dapper (Laughil Blake-Dalcash Devici) was a good runner up in her trial. The August puppy was beaten a head in 29.41, she made €2,900.
The quickest on the clock was Geneva Jake (Droopys Sydney-Sparta Emmy), a recent winner around Waterford, the February puppy clocked 28.98 and was then sold for €2,550.
A recent 28.95 winner around Tralee, Sporting Charity (Ballymac Best-Sporting Riviera) was a smart 29.13 winner. Showing a nice attitude, she made €2,500.
