EXCITING YOUNGSTER ROAMING TURBO MAKES IT TWO FROM TWO AT CURRAHEEN PARK

Racing in Curraheen Park produced a number of brilliant performances on Saturday night.
March youngster Roaming Turbo (Droopys Sydney-Roaming Shari) made it two wins from as many starts in race seven, an A0/A1.
Trained by Kieran Lynch for owners Eoin Ivers and Fintan Lawlor, the 5-4 favourite wasn't the quickest into the stride, but he showed a bit of early zip into the first corner as he turned in mid-division. Footfield Athena was setting the early fractions up front and the winner soon moved second after running the opening corners well.

With three lengths to make up heading down the far side, the exciting youngster showed big speed as he finished strongest to land the spoils. At the line, Roaming Turbo was a length clear of Footfield Athena, in 28.56.

A WONDERFUL SERVANT
A wonderful servant for connections, Fitzys Last recorded back to back winning performances in race 10, an A2, for owners Finbarr and Liam Fitzgerald.

Producing a dream start along the outside, the 6-4 winner was in a great early battle with Ashgrove Moana. Much the strongest in the second half of the race, the consistent performer pulled away to win, by four and a half lengths, in 28.49.

EARLY DASH
In race nine, Droopys Iconic overcame the trap five draw to win for owners the Golden-Spoon-Syndicate and trainer Pat Kiely.

Showing a lovely touch of early dash, the 3-1 shot slipped around in front, soon four clear, he was all out in the closing stages to hold the fast finishing Ballydague Bella. Half a length the margin, in 28.61.
IN OTHER RACES
Montana Fantasy impressed in the second of the night, an A2, for owners Barry and Martin O'Reilly. Trained by John Linehan, the 3-1 winner clocked a career best of 28.65.
In race five, Bartlemy Sile delivered another likeable performance, winning the S1/S2, in 17.72, for Liam Mannix, at odds of 6-4.
In race eight, an A1, Footfield Siren made it three straight wins with another smart winning performance for trainer John Linehan and owner Martin Hagan. Staying on strongly in the closing stages, the 9-4 chance stopped the clock, in 28.73.
Lads Panther ran out a superb winner of the closing race, an A1, for Mary Mackey. The March youngster caught the eye, showing plenty of speed, she won easily, in 28.71, at odds of 3-1.
