Irish greyhound racing lost one of the good guys with the sad news of John Moloney’s passing yesterday.
President of the Mullingar GOBA, John was a stalwart of the midlands track and scarcely missed a meeting until his health declined in more recent times.
He was a true doggy man. His dedication and commitment to the sport of greyhound racing was there for all to see and, even in his final days, that remained the case. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him and the void left by his absence at Mullingar will be notable.
We would likely to send our sincerest condolences to his sons John and Paddy, his daughter in law Elaine, his beloved grandchildren Cody, Ryan and Joey, his extended family and many friends.
May He Rest In Peace.
