KIWI TAKES MULLINGAR’S GOTY AWARD

Mumbai Kiwi recorded a wonderful eleven wins around Mullingar in 2023 and as a result was a most deserving winner of the Greyhound of the Year award for the track.

Trained by David Murray for the Lakeside Rockets Syndicate, the daughter of Pestana and Kilgowan Kiwi claimed her first success of the year in early March and proceeded to win at least one race in every month, with the exception of June, thereafter.

The key to claiming the title was winning three of her last four starts of the year, including a career best (on the clock) 29.43 in her penultimate start in late November.

A huge congratulations to all involved in Mumbai Kiwi. Have no doubt, she will be back on track in the near future and is likely to win many more in the coming months.
