Crafty Kokoro wasn’t the only member of the Divilly clan to show some dash on Saturday evening as she raced to a brilliant success in the final of the Corn Cuchulainn.
It seems her owner Peter Divilly also displayed real fleet of foot to even get to Shelbourne Park to watch his star in action.
Peter was playing in a league final with his beloved club Claregalway at 6pm in Pearse Stadium but had a deal in place with the manager to be subbed off at halftime to allow him the time to get to Dublin. It was an impressive maneouvre from a man who was turning 31 the following day.
Thankfully, both Claregalway and Crafty Kokoro won. It was quite a weekend for the birthday boy! Of course, with Peter being a valued member of the squad, his team mates also tuned in during their celebrations to watch and support Crafty Kokoro. Shane Divilly posted a video of said support on-line and you can watch it here: https://twitter.com/divilly_shane/status/1548429981738344450?s=20&t=zKUP3pVthog4DVy747JUdw
