FOUR FROM FOUR FROM DROOPYS FLYTLINE IN DENIS LINEHAN UNRACED FINAL

Droopys Flytline (Laughil Blake-Droopys Curio) recorded four straight wins in the final of the €5,000 to the winner Denis Linehan Solicitors Unraced Stake at Curraheen Park on Saturday night.
Trained by Robert Gleeson for owners Michael Dunphy and Alice Guiney Gleeson, the 6-4 second choice of the punters, a September puppy, produced a great start and after slipping around in front, it was always going to take something really special to reel the exciting young talent in.
It did get tight for racing room at the opening corner, Daleroad Duke came together with Jetara on the outside of the track. Up front, Droopys Flytine kicked for home and he quickly shot a couple of lengths clear. Droopys Zelda was chasing hard in second and she delivered a stunning performance in defeat. However, it was all about the winner as he put on a career-best display in the feature final, clocking a top class, 28.17, two-and-a-half lengths clear of Zelda in second. Three lengths back to Daleroad Duke back in third.

Up The Style set a high standard in the opening round of the Shelley Fennelly Memorial Bitch Stake.
Trained by Robert Gleeson for owners Alan and Pat Dobbs, the 4-6 favourite delivered a real special performance. Showing a massive injection of speed heading into the opening corner, she shot clear on the back straight and it was all one-way traffic upfront. A 28.04 winning run, seven lengths clear of Ballymac Opera who was back in second.
NO MISTAKES
In heat two, Scooby Duchess made no mistakes when winning for trainer Jennifer O'Donnell and owner Steve Noble.
In front early, the 5-4 favourite piled on the pressure throughout as she beat the running on Clogheen Lass, by two and a half lengths, in 28.33.
IN OTHER HEATS
In the opening heat, Goldcash Ice delivered a high-class performance to make it back-to-back wins at the Cork circuit in 28.37, for Jack Mead and Mairead Doyle. Ballymac Run was in prime position for most of the journey, but the 6-4 second choice of the punters dug deep on the home straight to win, by a head, in a fantastic battle.
Hazelhill Jess came with a quick late run to take the fourth for Michael O'Connell. The 4-1 shot delivered a career-best performance, clocking 28.60. Quickest from halfway, the impressive winner got the better of Bredas Wood, by two and a half lengths.
OTHER STANDOUT PERFORMANCES
In the closing race, the Burgess Bucks @ Stud Getting Out Stakes, it was Move To Soon who made most of the running to win for trainer Kieran Lynch and owners the Length And A Half Syndicate, the 2-1 winner won the all-important early lead, showing big pace up front, it was a 28.25 winning run, a length clear of Ballymac Bronze. In the BoyleSports Irish Greyhound Trial Stake, it was Ballydague Bella who was on top form for trainer Tom O'Neill and owners the Dusty Notes Syndicate. The 6-1 outsider made her move on the back straight and the powerful performer flew home to land the spoils, in 30.06, two and a half lengths clear of Gaytime Hugo.
In the second, BoyleSports Irish Greyhound Trial Stake, Lads Panther delivered a high-class performance for Mary Mackey. The 2-1 winner just head enough early to slip around in front and from there, it was all about the powerful running winner. A career-best performance, clocking a superb 29.53 and proving eight lengths too strong for Joyces Magpie.
In the fourth of the night, an A0, Droopys High Bar returned to winning form for trainer Johnny Linehan and owners the Boys-Are-Back-In-Town-Syndicate, driving a great opening corner, the even-money winner went on to win, in 28.57, two and a half lengths clear of Gentle Raven.
Linehan also scored in race six when Ettas Dream won the the Carrigoon Kennels & CPSC 550. Showing a lovely turn of pace heading in the opening corners, the Stephen A Bate-owned runner took up the running in top gear and the improving youngster quickly put the race to bed. It was an outstanding winning performance, scoring easily, in 29.78. (550).
