A COUPLE OF BIG PERFORMANCES IN THE KINGDOM

Barry Drake

There were some fantastic performances in the Kingdom over the weekend.

On Saturday night, Slipalong Duke (Grangeview Ten-Slipalong Fly) made a most impressive winning debut.

Trained by Patrick O'Connor for owners the All Crack & No Work Syndicate, the July youngster has a big future ahead after this stunning 28.23 winning debut performance. The 1-2 favourite produced a lovely start to lead, pulling clear on the back straight, it was a top-class winning run. Seven lengths back to Badly Behaving in second.

On Friday night

The feature, the €1,250 to the winner R.C.E.T.S. Traceability App Stakes Final was won by Shes Joking (Ballymac Cashout-Sidewinder) for trainer James O'Regan and owners the T & J Jokers Syndicate. The bright prospect, a November youngster, took a flyer to win the all-important early lead and the 5-2 shot went on to win, in 28.74. An outstanding performance to beat Full Notice, by three lengths.

Congratulations to Shes Joking - winner of our RCETS Novice Stakes! Well done to the T&J Jokers Syndicate and all at Camp Kennels.
