It’s with incredible sadness we must report the passing of Karl Cullen in very tragic circumstances.
You may have read tributes to the young man from Enniscorthy, who died after a traffic accident on Sunday evening.
Karl was a popular member of the community who ran a successful bespoke kitchen business in Milehouse and regularly appeared on RTE’s Room To Improve. He was also a talented sportsman and represented Shamrocks GAA with real pride.
But he was also a keen doggy man and had greyhounds in training with Declan Byrne. In recent times, his most successful was Ballymac Freya. A full sister to Ballymac Ariel from a repeat mating, she debuted last summer and won races at Enniscorthy, Clonmel, Shelbourne Park, Waterford and Tralee.
Those lucky enough to know Karl saw him as a gentle soul and the best of company. His lust for life was infectious and he will be truly missed. He was taken far too soon.
We would like to send on our sincerest condolences to his parents Karl and Annette, his loving brothers Darren and Diarmuid, his uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family, work colleagues and many friends.
May He Rest In Peace.
