Kilkenny hosted another hugely successful sale on Saturday, June 15th. There was a very healthy turnover of €55,000 with a clearance rate of just under ninety percent.
There were some eye-catching displays to excite buyers, one of which was Lot 20, Keylogues Runner who topped the sale at €5,000. The September ’22 novice tracker posted an impressive 29.24
One lady to keep an eye on in the future is Lot 3, Rebel Ivy. The February ‘23 pup showed a big engine to win her trial in 29.63 and fetched a handsome sum of €2,650 for her efforts.
Lot 17, Luminous Bucko made the third highest fee of the day at €2,400. He made all the running in his trial, winning in 29.64. He looks a bright prospect.
Some other lots of note included brothers, Glideaway Falcon and Glideaway Onana, who sold for €2,000 and €2,300 respectively. Lot 46, Millroad Bowie put his experience to use on the day to win his trial and sold for €2,200.
Lot 29, Memories Dream showed improvement on previous form and sold for €1,800. The youngest tracker on the catalogue Pyro Man showed a lovely touch of early before being picked up late in his trial. He still went on to make €1,500 at auction. At just 15 months old, it’s safe to say he is open to considerably improvement. Kilkenny’s next sales is scheduled for Saturday, July 20th.
