Those in social media may have already seen the video of the opening trial from yesterday’s trial session at Lifford track but, if you haven’t, it’s certainly worth a look.

Lifford Track’s twitter handle posted the video with the caption, “First trial session completed this morning, great to be back.  Video recorded for historic purposes with permission of the owner!”.

While it may have only been a solo sprint trial, there was so much to get excited about in the video. The track and the surrounding areas look immaculate. The in-field grass is cut tight, the walls are a bright white and the track looked flawless. It’s also wonderful to remind yourself what a tremendous galloping circuit Lifford is. We eagerly await the return of racing to the Northwest and, again, we wish all involved the very best of luck in the coming months.
