MILLBANK CHOSEN A BRILLIANT WINNER OF THE CORK OAKS FINAL

MILLBANK CHOSEN (Dorotas Wildcat-Droopys Sylvia) ran out a brilliant winner of the €5,000 Cork Oaks final at Curraheen Park on Saturday night.

Trained by Graham Holland for George and Padraig Hickey, the 2-1 winner produced a great start along the fence. Once she slipped around in front, it was always going to take something special to reel her in. Cielo was within touching distance heading down the back straight, however, the one upfront was very strong, showing bundles of pace throughout, the impressive winner came home with four lengths to spare over Cielo, in a fantastic 28.26. Two lengths back in third was Droopys Next One.
