OLIVER HEAVEY

It’s with real sadness we must report the passing on St Patricks Day of Oliver Heavey.

Oliver was a greyhound man to his core. A regular at Navan for many years prior to its closure, he was a regular attendee at a number of tracks especially Shelbourne Park.

He also owned many fine greyhounds through the years and will be sadly missed by all that knew him. A great character who was the best of company, his absence will be noticed at the track.

We would like to send on our condolences to his wife Marguerite, his daughter Siobhán, sons Colin and Alan, his beloved grandchildren Katie, Declan, Adam, Owen and Harry, his in laws, extended family and many friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

Peacefully, in the excellent care of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Marguerite and loving father of Baby Oliver (deceased), Siobhán, Colin and Alan. Sadly missed by his loving family; son-in-law Gabriel, daughters-in-law Fidelma and Sheena, grandchildren Katie, Declan, Adam, Owen and Harry, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
