A WONDERFUL FIVE TIMER FOR PAT MOLONEY IN YOUGHAL

Garyvoe handler Pat Moloney enjoyed a night to remember at Youghal on Wednesday night as he sent out a wonderful five timer.
It all began in the opener with debutant Summoned. Owned by Vicki Moloney, the August pup showed signs of inexperience but did enough to make a winning start in 29.99.
Portrait made all in race four for Marian Moloney. This fellow flew out, held a clear lead around the opening bends, and stuck to his task to post 29 seconds.
Mcracken made it two wins from as many starts with a superb display in race 12, making it three on the night for the Moloney team. A 29.14 winning run.
Dipity doubled her tally by taking race eight for team Moloney. The strong runner changed pace down the back to lead going to the third turn and then kept going all the way to beat Lady Alexa by two lengths, in 29.42.
Garryvoe Anton completed the five timer in the closing race as he showed massive all round pace to land the A1-A2, in 29.23.
KEHOE TREBLE
In taking the feature, a mini-open/A1, Slaneyside Boy brought his tally to six wins in 14 starts.
The July pup missed the kick but displayed impressive pace to turn second behind Seaview Boss. He challenged the leader around the last couple of bends and stayed on strongly to beat Cavies Honey by half a length, in 28.92.
Slaneyside Breda brought up leg two with an all-the-way victory in race nine. The May ’20 whelp was in splendid isolation from an early stage and won as she liked, in 28.98.
The treble was completed by Slaneyside Fauna, who led from the second turn in race 10. Soon clear, he won with plenty of authority for a fifth career victory.
IN OTHER RACES
Watch Out Mint put a ninth win on his card when leading from the first turn in race two. Mark Drinan’s dog stopped the clock in 29.81.
Castlerock Pippa gained an overdue return to winning ways in race three. Michael Cummins’ bitch ran out a convincing winner in 29.43. The outcome was never in any doubt.
Corrin Daisy usually leaves her effort late, but she led early in race five and the writing was on the wall. William Kelleher’s bitch was chased hard by the promising Mylane Brendy but denied that rival by a length, in 29.61.
Churchtown Jonjo doubled his tally with a well-deserved success in race six. Peter Stead’s runner clocked 29.88 in winning.
Dromana Fury, without a win since November, proved a class above his rivals in race 11. Gearoid O’Brien’s dog was in midfield early but quickened sharply to lead at the third turn before racing clear for a wide-margin win in 29.11.
