GOT IT SHINES AT DUNDALK

Tonight’s card at Dundalk features two sweepstake finals and an open 400 but those in action will have to go some to better the display of Droopys Got It, who lit up Dundalk on Friday evening when wining the Irish Retired Greyhound Trust ON2 400. 

The Ian Reilly trained youngster is certainly bred to be fast being a son of Tullymurry Act and former top-class racer Droopys Hunch and his latest 21.18 return for the 400yd trip would suggest he has a big future.

He was pressed in the early yards by another exciting prospect, Gentle Champ, but Droopys Got It drove the bend to shoot clear. Once doing so, Michael Dunphy’s tracker eased on to score by three lengths from Gentle Champ. Keep an eye on the front two in the future.
