Summerfield Air, trained by Gerry Holian for Liam Carr, was quickest in the semi-finals of the Lee Strand below in the Kingdom on Friday night.

The 6-4 favourite came away racing and the June youngster displayed massive early speed to easily slip around the opening turns in front. Soon clear, the impressive winner delivered a fantastic 29.67 winning run, five lengths clear of the running on Grouchos Scooby.

Out the back early, Deadly Choice delivered another powerful finish when winning for trainer Michael O'Donovan and owner Garry Hannon. The 5-4 favourite hit top gear at halfway and he beat the unlucky in-running Dashing Toro, by three lengths, in 29.74. 

Unanimouspanther landed the third and final semi-final for trainer Pat Buckley. In the ownership of Ciaran O'Sullivan, the even-money favourite was making it three straight wins with another strong winning display. Midfield early, he took the inside route on the turns for home, finishing well, he beat Cheap Sandwiches, by half a length, in 29.76.
