ANOTHER SUPERB DISPLAY FROM GORTKELLY BEAR IN KILCOHAN PARK FEATURE

Gortkelly Bear, trained by Michael Meade for owner Derek Larkin, ran out a great winner of the feature in Kilcohan Park on Saturday night, the €5,000 to the winner DG Foods Ltd A4 Tri Distance Final. In superb form throughout the event, the 5-2 shot delivered another fantastic performance in the feature final. The September puppy was recording three straight wins as the son of Broadstrand Bono and Gortkelly Sorcha hit the front early on and from there, he was always in control. Showing plenty of speed throughout, it was another impressive winning display as he clocked 31.78 for the 575, two lengths clear of Bogger Cash, who ran well in second.
