Enthusiastic German Fans Flocked To Shelbourne Park For UEFA Europa League Pre Party

Dublin’s Greyhound Track Welcomed Passionate Bayer Supporters

Greyhound Racing Ireland were delighted with the incredible turnout at Shelbourne Park Greyhound Stadium as they hosted their first ever ‘Fan Meeting Point’ ahead of the 2023/24 UEFA Europa League Final.

Football enthusiasts flocked to Shelbourne Park, with German supporters of Bayer Leverkusen radiating excitement in the lead-up to the big game at the Aviva Stadium against Atalanta.

The atmosphere was electric with live music, delicious burgers, hotdogs, refreshing Heineken, and an abundance of Bayer spirit as the crowds passionately sang their team's anthem. The excitement peaked when famous former German footballers took the stage for an interview, igniting the crowd and getting everyone on their feet. It was an unforgettable night of football fervor and community spirit, but it was a shame the result didn’t go their way!

Sarah Kinsella, spokesperson for Greyhound Racing Ireland, said: “We are absolutely thrilled with the turnout we got at Shelbourne Park Greyhound Stadium for our first ever ‘Fan Meeting Point’. Bayer Leverkusen fans were full of excitement, and we would like to thank them for coming along. A massive thank you to our sponsors and the Davis Agency for choosing us as their destination point. We hope everyone enjoyed it as much we enjoyed hosting it.”
