A brilliant winner of the Gold Cup at Monmore, the Pall Mall at Oxford and Puppy Derby at Newcastle, he was also muted as a potential challenger for the Winter Racing Festival with his trainer Tom Heilbron said to be keen to bring him.
Sadly, the brilliant son of Grangeview Ten and Havana Lottie picked up a small injury in the opening round of the Classic at Sunderland last Friday week. The good news is that his enforced layoff has opened up opportunities for breeders with Links Maverick set to serve a few bitches while on the sidelines.
