Once again, BALLYMAC SIUN delivered a sensational performance in the Timmy Ward Memorial Stakes at the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium on Friday night.

In the opening round, the exciting tracker clocked 28.18, and the January puppy followed up with another huge run in the second round, posting a top-class 28.14. Taking over from Zenith Scorpion at the halfway mark, the powerful running winner flew home, pulling right away to win by seven and a half lengths.

Another performance of the very highest order from the 1-2 favourite.

Next best on the clock was Crossfield Eva, as the 1-2 favourite scored with plenty to spare for Brendan O'Shea. Showing a nice touch of early speed, the impressive winner took control before the third corner, and she stayed on well to beat the running on Daleroad Best by five lengths, in 28.51.

In the other heat, Tiermana Hunter landed the spoils for trainer Colm Fitzgerald and owners the Supping Away Syndicate. Out the back early, the 4-1 shot drove a fantastic opening corner to turn handy, and the October puppy flew down the back straight to lead. Strong up front, the 4-1 shot got the better of Gracies Machine, by two and a half lengths, in 28.81.

Gallarus Sniper, trained by Michael Baker for Saoirse Baker, made all the running to win the €1,350 to the winner K.G.O.B.A Tri Distance Stakes Final. It was pretty straightforward for the even-money favourite, after leading early, the outcome was never in any doubt. The in-form tracker was recording four straight wins, clocking 30.16 and coming home five and a half lengths clear of Feora Cara, in 30.16
