Droopys Kathleen suffered the first defeat oft her career at Dunstall Park on Friday night, making her exit in fourth in the second round of the PGR British Oaks.
It simply wasn’t meant to be for the stunningly fast daughter of Droopys Sydney. A mistimed start and early crowding proved her undoing. In truth after a layoff of almost a year, there was always potential for something of a ‘bounce’ after he record breaking comeback run last weekend and she ran a little flat in behind rivals.
We will get an update on Droopys Kathleen in the coming days but, hopefully, she will bounce straight back and we look forward to seeing her back in action very shortly, most likely at Shelbourne Park one suspects.
