TIARA AND LOUGH IMPRESS IN ENNISCORTHY TRI DISTANCE

The semi finals of the A3 Tri Distance were the feature of Thursday’s action at Enniscorthy and both heats were won in tremendous fashion.

Ballymac Tiara (Pic below left) set the standard in the opening round, recording a rapid 28.68 for 525yds. IN Thursday’ second round she also went fastest, coming through to score in a fast 30.10. Trained by Pat Whelan for Bernard Farrell, the daughter of Ballymac Best and Are Nagini eased on to score by three and a half lengths from Piercestown Wind.

LOUGH TOO STRONG

The previous semi-final saw Foxmount Lough (Pic below right) come home in front for Lester Power, David Kent and Jack Molloy.

The daughter of Droopys Sydney and Lough Saoirse was close to the pace from the outset before emerging a four length scorer over Coolavanny Nanni in 30.36.
