Track Record holder Droopys Edison confirmed his status as a leading player for Laurels success after another top-class performance in Curraheen Park on Saturday night.
Trained by Robert Gleeson for owners Michael Dunphy and Paul Allen, the 5-4 market leader produced a good start to lead early. Just like last week, he showed massive pace and he pulled right away heading down the back straight. All one way traffic at the head of affairs, Droopys Edison came home nine and a half lengths clear of defending champion One Time Only, who himself ran a big race after early trouble, in 28.11.
