DEAD-HEAT DECLARED BETWEEN HOFFA AND PRO AM TO THIRD TURN

Coolavanny Hoffa and Callaway Pro Am were inseparable to the third turn in their epic clash in Saturday’s third round of the Boylesports Derby.
As a result, we have put both down as a 17.10 to that point in the contest.
It means the pair share the honour of going fastest to the third turn. On the evidence on offer, I would suggest the clocks were approximately .10sec slow to the third turn and a further .10sec slow to the winning line from that point.
Just behind Hoffa and Pro Am was Born Warrior who posted a tremendous 17.14 to the third turn. Tullig Raven and Bockos Budsit also went well, clocking 17.15. Vincenzo posted 17.23, suggesting how fast he was in the latter stages, given the fact that he posted a fastest of the round 29.49.
Both Bulletfromagun and Romeo Magico recorded 17.28, while Callaway Masters shifted a hefty bump on the bend before going on to clock 17.55. The full list of leader’s clocks for the entire Derby can be found below:
